AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ABANDONING AS A PUBLIC STREET A CERTAIN
PORTION[OF OLD HENRY STREET LYING BETWEEN CARROLL BOULEVARD AND
BOLIVARISTREET, SAID PORTION BEING FURTHER DESCRIBED THEREIN IN
FULL, A~TER FINDING THAT THE PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY NO
LONGER REQUIRES ITS CONTINUED EXISTENCE AS A PUBLIC STREET, RE-
TAINING CERTAIN UTILITY AND DRAINAGE RIGHTS THEREIN, AND DECLAR-
ING AN ~FFECTIVE DATE
THE CO~CIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS

Th~ City Council hereby finds and determines that the public
convenience and necessity no longer require the continued existence
of thos~ certain portions of street described below for general
street ~Ses, and that continued use as a public street would create
a dangerous trafflc condition due to new thoroughfare design, which
street portions are described as follows qltuated in the City of
Denton,i Texas, to-wit
PORTION NO 1
BEGINNING at a point ~n the east right of way l~ne of Carroll Boule-
vard (fDrmerly Beaumont Street) sald point of beginning being the
~nterse~tion of the east right of way l~ne of Carroll Boulevard and
the south right of way line of Henry Street and also being the north-
west cerner of Lot 2, Block 6 of the D H Fry Addition to the C~ty
of Denton,
THENCE least along the south right of way line of Henry Street a dis-
tance of 258 0 feet to a point for a corner, same being the inter-
sectlo~ of the south right of way line of Henry Street and the west
right df way line of Denlson Street, and also being the northeast
corner [of Lot 1, Block 6 of the said D H Fry Addition,
THENCE!north along the west right of way line of Denlson Street 60 0
feet t9 the lntersectlon of the west r~ght of way line of Denlson
Street ~and the north right of way line of said Henry qtreet,
THENCE west along the north right of way line of said Henry Street a
distance of 258 0 feet to a point for a corner in the east right of
way llhe of Carroll Boulevard,
THENCE south a d~stance of 60 0 feet to the place of beginning

~aid point of beginning being the intersection of the east right of
way ll~e of Denlson Street and the south right of way l~ne of Henry
Street~ and also being the northwest corner of Lot 2, Block 5 of said
D H Fry Addition,
THENCEteast ~long the south right of way l~ne of Henry Street a dis-
tance Of 300.0 feet to a point for a corner, same being the ~nter-
section of the south right of way l~ne of Henry Street and the west
right gf way llne of Bolivar Street, said point also being the north-
east corner of Lot 1, Block 5 of sa~d D H Fry Addition,
