ON THE OFFICIAL TAX ROLLS AND PLAT OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS,
AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EFFEC-
TIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted
January 14, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ord~nance~ of
the City of Denton, Texas, under provisions of Ordinance No
69-1, be, and the same is hereby amended as follows
Ail the hereinafter described property is hereby removed
from the "SF-7" S~ngle Famlly Dlstr~ct as shown on sa~d
Zoning Map, and all provisions of Ordinance No 69-1,
adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended, shall
hereafter apply to said property as "NS'" Neighborhood
Service D~strlct in the same manner as other property
located in the "NS" Neighborhood Service District,
Ail that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and
being situated in the City of Denton, County of Denton,
S~ate of Texas, and being C~ty Lots 1, 2, 7 and 8, Block
3~4, and which property is located on the south s~de of
Eagle Drive between Avenue C and Kendolph Streets
SECTION II
That the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby
finds ~that such change is in accordance with a comprehensive plan
for the purposes of promoting the general welfare of the City of
Denton, Texas, and with reasonable consideration, among other th~ngs
for the character of the district and for ~ts peculiar suitability
or particular uses, and with a view to conserving the value of the
bultd~ags, protecting human lives, and encouraging the most approp
rlate uses of land for the maximum benefit to the City of Denton
and ~ts citizens
SECTION III
That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect im-
mediately after its passage and approval, the requiring public
hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning
Commission and the City Council of the C~ty of Denton, Texas,
after giving due notice thereof
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 27th day of April, A D 1971
