THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, ~ND Aq ~AID MAP
APPLIES TO A TRACT OF LAND CONTIGUOUS TO THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF
LOT 17, BLOCK 23, OP THE gOUTHRIDGE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, ~AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN, AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
THE coUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAIN~
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted
January 14, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code o~ Ordinances of
the City of Denton, Texas, under provisions of Ordinance No 69-1,
be, and the same is hereby amended as follow~
All the hereinafter described propertv lq hereby removed
from the "A" A~rlcultural D~str~ct as shown on said ~on-
lng Map, and all provisions of Ordinance No 69-1, adopt-
ed the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended, ~hall here
after apply to sa~d property as SF 16 Slnqle Family District
1~ the same manner as other property located in the ~F 16
Slngle Family District,
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lylnq and being sit-
uated in the City and County of Denton, qtate of Texa~, and belnc
more particularly described as follows, to-w~t
BEGINNING at the southeast corner of Lot 17, Block 23, Southrld~e
Addition to the C~ty of Denton, Texas,
THENCE south 400 feet,
THENCE west 1900 feet,

SECTION II
That the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby finds
that such change is in accordance w~th a comprehensive plan for the
purposes of promoting the general welfare of the City of Denton,
Texas, and with reasonable consideration, among other th~ngs for the
character of the district and for its pecul~sr sultab~l~tv or parti-
cular uses, and with a view to conserving the value of the buildings,
protecting human lives, and encouraging the most approDr3ate uses of
land for the maximum benefit to the C~ty of Denton and ~ts c~tlzens

SECTION III
Th, at thls ordinance shall be in full force and effect immedi-
ately after ~ts passage and approval, the required Dubl~c hearings
having heretofore been held by the ~lannlnq and Zonlnc CommIssIon
and the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, after ~v~nq
due notice thereof
