1969, AS SAME WAS ADOPTED AS AN APPENDIX TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO 69-1, AND AS SAID
MAP APPLIES TO CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS CITY LOTS 2 THROUGH 10,
BLOCK 171 AS SHOWN ON THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON,
TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND DECLARING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted
January 14, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Denton, Texas, under provisions of Ordinance No 69-1, be,
and the same is hereby amended as follows
Ail the hereinafter described property is hereby removed
from the "SF-7" Single Family District as shown on said
Zoning Map, and all provisions of Ordinance No 69-1,
adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended, shall
hereafter apply to said property as "SF-5" Single Family
District in the same manner as other property located
in the "SF-5" Single Family District,
Ail that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and
being situated in the City and County of Denton, State
of Texas, known as City Lots 2 through 10, Block 171 as
shown this date on the Tax Map of the City of Denton,
Texas, being located on the west side of Rose Street
between Paisley and the railroad tracts
SECTION II
That the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby
finds that such change is in accordance with a comprehensive plan
for the purposes of promoting the general welfare of the City of
Denton, Texas, and with reasonable consideration, among other things,
for the character of the district and for its peculiar suitability
or particular uses, and with a view to conserving the value of the
buildings, protecting human lives, and encouraging the most appro-
priate uses of land for the maximum benefit to the City of Denton
and its citizens
SECTION III
That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect im-
mediately after its passage and approval, the required public
hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning
Commission and the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, after
giving due notice thereof

CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AS SHOWN THIS DATE ON THE OFFICIAL
TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED THEREIN, AND DECLARINC AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION I
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted
January 14, 1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Denton, Texas, under provisions of Ordinance 69-1,
be, and the same ~s hereby amended as follows
Ail the hereinafter described property is hereby removed
from the "A" Agricultural District as shown on said Zoning Map
and all provisions of Ordinance No 69-1, adopted the 14th day
of January, 1969, as amended, shall hereafter apply to said pro-
perty as "SF-10" Single Family District in the same manner as
other property located in the "SF-10" Single Family District,
Ail that certain lot, tract or parcel of land situated in the
J McGovern Survey, Abstract No 797, C~ty and County of Denton,
Texas, said tract being further described herein by metes and
bounds as follows
BEGINNING for the northeast corner of th~s, at the southeast
corner of that tract described in deed to L L McAnlnch as
recorded in Volume 361, Page 574 of the Deed Records of Denton
County, Texas,
THENCE south 2860 feet more or less to the north line of tract
called Robert A N~chots property,
THENCE west with the aforesaid Nichols north l~ne to its inter-
section with the east line of Teasley Lane, 745 feet more or less,
THENCE north with the sa~d eastern l~ne of Teasley Lane 2860 feet
more or less to the southwest corner of aforementioned McAnlch
tract for the northwest corner of this,
THENCE east 745 feet more or less w~th sa~d McAnlch line to the
place of beginning
SECTION II
That the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby finds
that such change ~s in accordance with a comprehensive plan for the
purpose of promoting the general welfare of the City of Denton,
Texas, and w~th reasonable consideration, among other things for the
character of the district and for its peculiar suitability or
particular uses, and with a view to conserving the value of
the buildings, protecting human lives, and encouraging the most

SECTION III
That th~s ordinance shall be in full force and effect
medlately after its passage and approval, the requzred public
hearings having heretofore been held by the Planning and Zoning
Commlss~on and the City Council of the Czty of Denton, Texas,
after glvlng due notice thereof
