shall In no w~se affect impair or ~nval~date the renaln~ng port,on
or portions thereof but as to such rema~nlng portion or portions
the same shall be and reason in full force and effect, and should
thzs ordinance for any reason be ~neffectzve as to any part of the
area hereby annexed to the Czty of Donton such ineffectiveness o£
this ordinance as to any such part or parts of any such area shall
not affect the effectiveness of th~s ordinance as to all of the
remainder of such area and the City Council hereby declares ~t to
be ~ts purpose to annex to the G~ty of Denton every part of the
