The Annual Planning Session of the City of Denton City Council on Thursday, August 1,
2002, at 8:00 a.m. in the Board Room of the Wild Horse Golf Club at Robson Ranch,
9501 Robson Blvd., Denton, Texas, at which the following items will be considered:

Welcome & Introductions

Team Building
Hold a discussion regarding the Myers-Briggs Type
Indicator.
Participate in a team building exercise.
10:00 a.m.
Break
10:15 a.m.
Committees, Boards and Commissions: Efficiency & Effectiveness
Hold a discussion regarding the efficiency and effectiveness of
committees, boards and commissions.
11:00 a.m.
Future Funding
Hold a discussion regarding future funding for community needs to
include, but not limited to, the use of the lA cent sales tax for roads,
Denton County Transit Authority and other public projects.
12:00 Noon
Lunch
1:00 p.m.
Continue Future Funding Discussion
1:30 p.m.
Economic Development
Hold a discussion regarding the use of economic development
consultants and future strategies.
3:00 p.m. Break

Council Commitmems and Member Resolutions
Hold a discussion to develop outcome statemems concerning
topics discussed during the planning session.
