DISD BOARD OF TRUSTEES
JANUARY 12, 1994
Joint Session of the City of Denton City Council and the DISD Board
of Trustees on Wednesday, January 12, 1994 at 12 noon in the Civil
Defense Room of City Hall, 215 E. McKinney, Denton, Texas at wtich
the following items will be considered:
1. Hold a discussion regarding mutual assistance between the City
of Denton and the DISD and encourage continued joint efforts.
2. Hold a discussion regarding the broadcasting of City Council
meetings and DISD School Board meetings using local cable
access via Channel 26.
3. Hold a discussion regarding a new elementary school in Denton.

4. Hold a discussion regarding the proposed one-half cent sales
tax proposal to reduce property tax.

5. Miscellaneous Matters
This item provides an opportunity for any city Council Member
or member of the DISD Board of Trustees to discuss a matter of
interest to the mutual parties.
