Corey, t;-ie Southwestern agent, informs me that the factory can not change our valves and hydrants in time to fill your order promptly and suggest that I make you an allowance for the fittings on this order and by the time you want additional hydrants we will be prepared for you. • I have conforrod with Mr, Ha?;mond, the agent of the Univer- sal pipe hero, and he tells me that you will need two fittings for each valve instead of one as ordered by you. That being the case you will need 30 additional fittings, making the total fittings 90 instead of 80. 90 fittings at list would cost $160.00 and 251o off would leave net 135.00 or 14,,00 men than your contract calls for.
