MINUTE ORDER .
That JAMES M. HAWKINS of 2269 blest Oak, Apartment E3 of
Denton County, Texas, is hereby authorized to execute agree-
ments with individual property owners for a stipulated price,
and as evidenced by the. minutes of this regularly scheduled
council meeting to paint and place house numbers on the curbs
of public streets fronting said property. Provided however, that
the above parties comply with all provisions of the Code of Ordin-
ances of the City of Denton, Texas, and more specifically Section
21-13 which regulates such activity.
And further, be it understood, that the above party in no
way represent the City of Denton, Texas, in any capacity, nor is any
inference of such a relationship authorized for any publicity which
might be created by the above parties.
Neither the City of Denton nor their respective officers and
employees shall be held liable for the negligence of the above
listed individual or his representatives, and the above individual
or his representative shall hold the City of Denton and their res-
pective officers and employees harmless from and shall defend the
City of Denton and their officers and employees thereof against
any claim for damages or injuries resulting from any negligent
acts or omissions by the above individuals or their representatives
including allegations and claims of third parties.
And, that failure to comply with any of the above provisions
on the part of the said members, agents and assigns of JAMES M.
HAWKINS will forthwith terminate this agreement and render null
and void any authorization granted to said party by the City of
Denton.
And,be it understood, that this Minute Order will expire
after the expiration of 180 days from the date it is executed.

KNOW ALL DEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF DENTON 19258
WHEREAS, on the 15th day of January, 1964, Foxworth-Galbraith Lumber
Company executed, acknowledged and delivered to Builders Jevelopment Company,
a Corporation, a certain Deed, conveying a 153.86 acre tract of land, out of
the John Carter, Hardin Carter, W. Pogue and S. McCracken Surveys, said Deed
being recorded in Volume 503, Page 640 of the Deed Records of Denton County,
Texas; and
WHEREAS, Builders Development Company, being the sole owner of said
property, desires to plat a portion of said property into an Addition to be
known as Avondale Addition, Section Four, to the City of Denton, Texas.
NOW, THEREFORE, KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that Builders Development
Company, a corporation, acting herein, by and through its undersigned officers,
does hereby make and adopt the plat this day filed of the hereinafter described
property, to be known as Avondale Addition, Section Four, to the City of Denton,
Texas, said property platted being more particularly described as follows:

together with adjacent easements shown on said plat which may be
necessary for the installation of utilities in this Section.
The undersigned does hereby further dedicate the streets, as shown on said
plat, to the public use forever.
The undersigned owner hereby acknowledges the requirement of the completion
of all water distribution and sewage collection systems, and all street, curb
and gutter, and drainage improvements, at its expense and guarantces the per-
formance of same.
The undersigned owner further acknowledges that this plat is approved
subject to all platting ordinances, rules, regulations, and resolutions of the
City of Denton, Denton County, Texas.
The undersigned does further hereby reserve for motility and drainage pur-
poses, the easements, as shown on said plat of said Addition, together with
the right of ingress and egress on said easements for the purpose of the
erection, construction, repairs and maintenance of such drainage and utility
facilities.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, Builders Development Company has caused its name to
be set hereto and its seal to be affixeds the 13th day of September, 1973.

TAX MAP OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
THEREIN; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted January 14,
1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton,
Texas, under provisions of Ordinance 69-1, be, and the same is hereby
amended as follows:
All the hereinafter described property is hereby removed from the "A"
Agricultural District as shown on said Zoning Pap, and all provisions
of Ordinance No. 69-1, adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended,
shall hereafter apply to said property as "C" Commercial District in the
same manner as other property located in the "C" Commercial District;
All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and being situated
in the City and County of Denton, State of Texas, and being Lot No. 10,
City Block No. 187-3 and being further described as being located on the
north side of Highway 380 east, ane being approximately 3 acres.
SECTION II.ti
That the City Council of the City of Denton. Texas, hereby finds that
such change is in accordance with a comprehensive plan for the purpose`
of promoting the general welfare of the City of Denton, Texas, and with
reasonable consideration, among other things for the character of the
district and for its peculiar suitability or particular uses, and with
a view to conserving the value of the buildings, protecting human lives,
and encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the maximum bene-
fit to the City of Denton, Texas and its citizens.

That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately after
its passage and approval, the required public hearings having heretofore
been held by the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council of

AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS,
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING ON OCTOBER 1, 1973, AND ENDING ON
SEPTEMBER 30, 1974; REVISING THE BUDGET FOR THE PRECEDING FISCAL
YEAR ENDING ON SEPTEMBER 30, 1973. LEVYING TAXES FOR THE YEAR
1973 TO BE ASSESSED ON ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE LIMITS OF
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing on the budget for the City
of Denton, Texas, for the fiscal year 1973-1974 was heretofore pub-
lished at least 15 days in advance of said hearing; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing on the said budget was duly held on
the 18th day of September, 1973, and all interested persons were
given an opportunity to be heard iar or against any item thereof;
now therefore
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I.
That the budget for the City of Denton, Texas, for the fiscal
year beginning October 1, 1973, and ending on September 30, 1974,
in words and figures as shown therein is finally approved and adopt-
ed.
SECTION II.
That the budget for the City of Denton, Texas, for the fiscal
year beginning on October 1. 1972, and ending on September 30, 1973,
as shown therein in words and figures, is hereby revised and amended
to show the words and figures indicated as "REVISED 1972-73 in the
budget for the fiscal year beginning on October 1, 1973 and ending
on September 30, 1974.
SECTION III.
That there shall be, and there is hereby levied, the following
taxes on each one hundred dollar ($100.00) valuation on all taxable
property within the City of Denton. Texas, to be assessed and col-
lected by the Tax Assessor and Collector for the year 1973 and said
taxes are to be assessed and collected for the purposes stipulated
as followso to-wit:
(a) For the General Fund Allocation or the
$100.00 valuation .9357
(b) For the Interest and Redemption Funds on ont-
standing bonded indebtedness on the $100.00
valuation .7643
Total Allocation of Levy $1.7000
The above allocation of the levy is made to insure that de osits
in the Interest and Redemption Funds of taxes collected during the
year ending September 30, 1974, will total $755,206.00 but is not in-
tended to exceed that amount.
SECTION IV.
That the City Manager shall cause copies of the budget to be
filed with the City Secretary, the County Clerk of Denton County and
the State Comptroller of Public Accounts.
SECTION V.
That this ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its
passage.

THL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS:`
SECTION I.
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted January 14,?^
1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton,
Texas, under provisions of Ordinance 69-1, be, and the same is hereby !
amended as follows:
s All the hereinafter described property is hereby removed from the "A`N
Agricultural District as shown on said Zoning Map, and all provisions
of Ordinance No. 69-1, adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended,
j shall hereafter apply to said
property as SF-10 Single Fami , District
in the same manner as other property located in the "SF-10" Single Fam-
ily District;

All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and being situated
in the City and County of Denton, State of Texas, and being approximately
12 acres on the southwest corner of Hobson and F.M. Road 2181 being fur-
ther described as Lot No. 39, City Block No. 285 in the City of Denton,
Texas.
SECTION II.
That the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby finds that
such change is in accordance with a comprehensive plan for the purpose
of promoting the general welfare of the City of Denton, Texas, and with
reasonable consideration, among other things for the character :of the
district and for its peculiar suitability or particular uses, and with Y
a view to conserving the value of the buildings, protecting human lives,
and encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the maximum bene-
fit to the City of Denton, Texas and its citizens.
SECTION III.
That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately after
Its passage and approval, the required public hearings having heretofore
been held by the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council of

OF DENTON, TEXAS, BY ORDINANCE NO. 69-1, AND AS SAID MAP APPLIES TO LOT
NO. 7, CITY BLOCK NO. 350-D AS SHOWN THIS DATE Ou THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP
OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED THEREIN;
AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, HEREBY ORDAINS:>
SECTION I. n
That the Zoning Map of the City of Denton, Texas, adopted January 14,
1969, as an Appendix to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton,
Texas, under provisions of Ordinance 69-1, be, and the same is hereby
amended as follows:
All the hereinafter described property is hereby removed from the "SF-7"
Single Family District as shown on said Zoning Map, and all provisions
of Ordinance No. 69-1, adopted the 14th day of January, 1969, as amended,
shall hereafter apply to said property as "2F" Two Family District in
the same manner as other property located in the "2F" Two Family Di.%trict; s:
s: All that certain lot, tract or parcel of land lying and being situated
- in the City and County of Denton, State of Texas, and being Lot No. 7,
City Block No. 350-D. and being further described as being located at the
c northwest corner of proposed Parvin Street and Bernard Street in the City 'i
rx of Denton, Texas.
SECTION II.
That the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby finds that
such change is in accordance with a comprehensive plan for the purpose
of promoting the general welfare of the City of Denton, Texas. and with
reasonable consideration, among other things for the character of the
district and for its peculiar suitability or particular uses, and with
a view to conserving the value of the buildings, protecting human lives,
and encouraging the most appropriate uses of land for the maximum bene-
fit to the City of Denton, Texas and its citizens.
SECTION III.
nat this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately after s
its passage and approval. the required public hearings having heretofore
been held by the Planning and Zoning Cormission and the City Council of
the City of Denton. Texas. after giving due notice thereof.
