` Dear Sir:
On Tuesday, July 29 a faulty transformer resulted in a minor
fire on the outside of our plant. Although it was while I
E was out to lunch and therefore 2 didn't, witness the response
of your men and equipment, T understand that it was outstand-
ing. One of our foremen, Bud Miller, called in the alarm and
his comments were that the first truck was coming over the
hill near Victor Equipment by the time that he returned from
the call to the exterior of the plant. a
Altboug'n this time the fire had been subdued by the time the
equipment arrived at the fire scene it is comforting for me f
and my people to be aware of the action that a phone call will
bring, T hope that we never find a real need for your Depart-
went but it's nice to know you are there,
j very truly yours,

Dear Chiefs
II I wish to congratulate and commend the members of your 1
department who completed the Emergency Medical Technology
course here this semester, Although your men are not yet
operating an ambulance service, they certainly did as well
i in this course as those who already do ambulance Work.
I must say that I was very impressed with the men from
your department, All were fine gentlemen and hard working J
students. y
ReF;istration with the Texas State Department of Health as
an Emergency Medical Technician is much more than lot a ~
I certificate or a ggiece of paper. It symbolizes a of of
hard 'work and implies a high level of knowledge and skill
in caring for emergency victims in the field, It carries
with it the obligation and responsibility to practice a
high level of emergency care.
If I may be of any assistance to your department in its
emergency programs, please do not hesitate to contact me,

Gentlemen:
We wish to thank the Denton Fire Department for responding
to our Fire Department's call for assistance in the Turbeville
Road area Friday afto: noon, January 9.
I personally witnessed the wonderful teamwork that was
demonstrated between all units present in fighting a gross
fire that engulfed over 2,000 acresof land. The dadi.cation
and cooon or each man present, prevented what could have
easily Mn. beoa groat tragedy in`aur county. T am personally
very proud and appreciative of the cooperation and profes-
sionalism of each Department ropresontdd at the scene, some
of them volunteer organizations. Without this excellent
j teamwork prevailing between Departments: few of us would
sloop well.
We are very grateful for your assistance and cooperation in
making this area of our county a safer place in which to live
and raise our families:
