Re: Community Development Block Crant (CDBG) Committee
On May 7, 1980, the CDBG Committee unanimously moved to request that the
Committee be expanded,from nine (9) to fifteen (15) members.
The°Comnittee further requests that it be We to suggest specific people to
serve on the expanded Committee (1-have those suggestions).
Finally, the Committee requests that current Committee members whose terms are
about to expire be reappointed,
The first recommendation evolved out of desire to have more city-wide represen-
tation. Committee members felt they knew of people that would be actively
involved members. The desire to retain present members was thought of a means
of assuring continuity.
Please let me know if these suggestions are feasible so that I might report
back to the Committee,
