SUBJECT: CANDIDATE INFORMA'PION PACKETS
As we have done in the past, staff will be providing an
"information packet" co all candidates in the city election. I
have attached for your information a list of items which have
been collected in the past for these packets as well as a
memorandum from our office which was sent to department
I directors requesting this information.
Traditionally, these packets are distributed to the candidates
on the day when they draw for place on the ballot. i plan to
hold the draw on Thursday, February 19, 1987. I will have a
definite number of copies which will be required after the
filing deadline on February 18.
If I can furnish any additional information, please advise.

SUBJECT. COUNCIL CANDIDATE INFORMATION PACKETS
The City Secretary has informed us that March 4, 1983 is the date candidates
for the Council Election will draw for order of.names on the ballot. At that
time, we will be furnishing each candidate a Council Information Packet. As
you may recall from past years, it has been our policy to supply all
candidates with information about each department In our City government. It
is at the March 4 meeting that we will furnish the candidates Council
Information Packets,
to facilitate organization of the Packets, would you please forward a list of
the Item/items you will want included. We will get back at a later date to
collect copies muted. Presently there have been too few candidates who have
filed to make any type of prediction.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. This should be a relatively
simple task which can provide a great service to Council Candidates.
