of Ordinances of the City of Denton, Texas you mutt pay the total charges
stated herein within thirty (30) days of the date of mailing hereof. If you
fail to do so, the City may file such charges, including interest at the rate
of ten (10) per cent per annum from the due date, with the County Clerk and
claim a lion upon the premises without further notice. Payment of $165.00
mutt be made payable to the City of Denton and mailed or delivered to:
Municipal Building, 215 E. McKinney Street, Denton, Texas 76201.
You are hereby advised that the reasonableness of the charges contained
herein, with the exception of the administrative fee, may be appealed to the
City Council within fifteen (15) days of the date of mailing hereof, by filing
a written statement with the City Manager stating why such charges are
unreasonable.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF DENTON §
That the City of Denton, Texas, hereinafter referred to as
City, is the holder of a certain promissory note, secured by
Mechanic's and Haterialman's Lien and Deed of Trust, said note,
lien and deed of trust being made to, for the benefit of, or
assigned to City to secure payment of costs of improvements made
by contractors to owners of real property in Denton County, Texas;
That City in consideration of full payment of said note, the
1 receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby release that
certain promissory note and mechanic's and materialman's lien
described as follows, to-wit:

Promissory note executed by Irene Price, dated May 18,
' I 1987 payable to the City of Denton, Texas in the amount
of Ten Thousand Two Hundred Ninety-four and No/100ths
Dollars ($10,294.00); and Deed of Trust and Mechanic's
and Materialman's Lien securing said note created by
contract dated February 4, 1987 upon the property
described therein, said contract, lien, and deed of
trust being recorded in Volume 2170, Page 713, of the
Deed Records of Denton County, Texas.

COLNTY OF DE11TON
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, has
heretofore by Ordinance No. 66-30 duly enacted on August 23, 1966
determined the necessity for and ordered the improvement of Wayne
Street, in the City of Denton, Texas, in the manner and according
to the plans and specifications therefore, which plans and speci-
fications have heretofore been approved and adopted by said City
Council; and
WHEREAS, a notice duly executed in the name of the City of
Denton, Texas, of the enactment of the said above described
ordinance has heretofore on September 1, 1966, been filed in the
j Deed Records of Denton County, Texas, in Volume 541, Page 490; and
f WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, by
Ordinance No. 67-02, duly enacted on January 10, 1967, declared the
liability of the adjacent property owners for a portion of the cost
of improving the said portion of Panhandle Street, and declared.
the same to be a lien upon the said abutting properties; and
s WHEREAS, in the aforesaid instruments City Lot 20, Block 468
(1128 Bellemead) in the name of Kenneth B. Borah was shown to be
specially assessed in the amount of Five Hundred Sixty-two Dollars
and Fifty Cents ($562.50); and
WHEREAS, the property owner's share of the cost of improving
City Lot 20, Block 468 abutting upon Panhandle Street in the City
of Denton is Five Hundred Sixty-two Dollars and Fifty Cents
($562.50); now, therefore;
In consideration of the payment by the said Kenneth B. Borah

to the City of Denton, Texas of Five Hundred Sixty-two Dollars and
Fifty Cents ($562.50) receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the
said City of Denton, Texas, does hereby forever release and dis-
charge the said Kenneth B. Borah his heirs and assigns, and City
Lot 20, Block 468 as shown on the City Map of the said City of
Denton, Texas from any and all special assessment liens and claims
arising by virtue of the improvements to Panhandle Street in the i

THE STATE OF TEXAS
RELEASE OF LIEN
COUNTY OF DENTON
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, has
heretofore by Ordinance No. 64-26 duly enacted on May 26, 1964
determined the necessity for and ordered the improvement of Sunset
Street, in the City of Denton, Texas, in the manner and according
to the plans and specifications therefore, which plans and speci-
fications have heretofore been approved and adopted by said City
Council; And
WHEREAS, a notice duly executed in the name of the City of
Denton, Texas, of the enactment of the said above described
ordinance has heretofore on June 9, 1964, been filed in the Deed
l Records of Denton County, Texas, in Volume 509, Page 382; and
f WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, by
Ordinance No. 64-26, duly enacted on May 26, 1964, declared the
liability of the adjacent property owners for a portion of the
cost of improving the said portion of Sunset Street, and declared
the same to be a lien upon the said abutting properties; and
f
WHEREAS, in the aforesaid instruments City Lot 5, Block 450
i (Sunset Street) in the name of W. F. "Pat" Hamilton was shown to
be specially assessed in the amount of Eight Hundred Twenty-one
r Dollars and Fifty-six Cents ($821.56); and
WHEREAS, the property owner's share of the cost of improving
City Lot 5, Block 450 abutting upon Sunset Street in the City of
Denton is Eight Hundred Twenty-on, Dollars and Fifty-six Cents
($821.56); now, therefore;
In consideration of the payment by the said W. F. "Pat"
Hamilton to the City of Denton, Texas of Eight Hundred Twenty-one
Dollard and Fifty-six Cents ($821.56) receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, the said City of Denton Texas, does hereby forever
release and discharge the said W. F. ('Pat" Hamilton his heirs and j
assigns, and City Lot 5, Block 450 as shown on the City Hap of
i the said City of Denton, Texas from any and all special
i assessment liens and claims arising by virtue of the improvements `
to Sunset Street in the City of Denton, Texas, described in the
aforesaid ordinances by the City Council of said City, and in the

RELEASE OF LIEN
COUNTY OF DENTON
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, has
heretofore by Ordinance No. 69-33 duly enacted on September 9, 1969,
determined the necessity for and ordered the improvement of Kerley
Street in the City of Denton, Texass= in the manner and according to
` the plans and specifications therefore, which plans and specifics-
` tions have heretofore been approved and adopted by said City Council;
and
WHEREAS, a' notice duly executed in the name of the City of
Denton, Texas, of the enactment of the said above described ordinance
` has heretofore on Septembev 12, 1969, been filed in the Deed Records
of Denton County, Texas, in Volume 591, Page 236; and

I WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, by
Ordinance No. 69-33, duly enacted on September 12, 1969, declared
the liability of! the adjacent property owners for a portion of the
cost of improving the said portion of Kerley Street, and declared
the same to be a lien upon the said abutting properties; and
WHEREAS, in the aforesaid instruments City Lot 14.1, Block 276
in the name of Will Gray was shown to be specially assessed in the
amount of Six Hundred Fifty Dollars and Ten Cents 650.10); and
WHEREAS, the property owner's Share of the cost of improving
City Lot 14.1, Block 276 abutting upon Kerley Street in the City of
Denton is Six Hundred Fifty Dollars and Ten Cents ($650.10); now,
therefore;
In consideration of the payment by the said Will Gray to the
City of Denton, Texas of One Thousand Three Hundred Nine Dollars and
1 Thirty-three Cents ($1,309.33) receipt of which is hereby acknow-
ledged, the said City of Denton, Texas, does hereby forever release
and discharge the said Will Gray, his heirs and assigns, and City j
Lot 14.1, Block 276 as shown on the City Map of the said City of
Denton, Texas from any and all special assessment liens and claims
arising by virtue of the improvements to City Lot 14.1, Block 276 in I
the City of Denton, Texas, described in the aforesaid ordinances by
the City Council of said City, and in the aforesaid notice recorded {
in Volume 591, Page 236 of the Deed Records of Denton County, Texas. I

therefore, which plans and specifications have heretofore been
approved and adopted by said City Council; and
WHEREAS, a notice duly executed in the name of the City of
Denton, Texas, of the enactment of the said above described ordinance

COUNTY OF DENTON g
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, has`r~~
heretofore by Ordinance No. 64-26 duly enacted on May 26, 1964
determined the necessity for and ordered the improvement of Wayne
Street, in the City of Denton, Texas, in the' m'Anner and according
to the plans and specifications therefore, which plans and speci-
fications have heretofore been approved and adopted by said City
Council; and
i .I
WHEREAS, a notice duly executed in the name of the City of
Denton, Texas, of the enactment of the said above described
ordinance has heretofore on June 9, 1964, been filed in the Deed
Records of Denton County, Texas, in Volume 509, Page 382; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, by
Ordinance No. 64-26, duly enacted on Nay 26, 1964, declared the
liability of the adjacent property owners for a portion of the
cost of improving the said portion of Wayne Street, and declared
the same to be a lien upon the said abutting properties; and
WHEREAS, in the aforesaid instruments City Lot 16, Block 178A
(1516 Wayne Street) of the John W. Mozingo Addition in the name
of B. G. Smithers was shown to be specially assessed in the
amount of Two Hundred Sixty-two Dollars and Sixty Cents
($262.60); and
WHEREAS, the property owner's share of the cost of improving
City Lot 16, Block 178A abutting upon Wayne Street in the City of
Denton is Two Hundred Sixty-two Dollars and Sixty Cents ($262.60);
now, therefore;
In consideration of the payment by the said B. G. Smithers to
the City of Denton, Texas of Two Hundred sixty-two Dollars and
Sixty Cents ($262.60) receipt of which is ~..~reby acknowledged,
the said City of Denton, Texas, does hereby forever release and
discharge the said B. J. Smithers his heirs and assigns, and City :
i Lot 16, Block 178A as shown on the City Map of the said City of
Denton, Texas from any and all special assessment liens and ' E
claims arisii:g by virtue of the improvements to Wayne Street in f
the City of Denton, Texas, described in the aforesaid ordinances
by the City Council of said City, and in the aforesaid notice
