McKinney. Denton, Texas at which the following items will be considered: 1. Resolutions A. Consider approval of a resolution establishing a Main street Task Force. 2. Ordinances A. Consider adoption of an ordinance canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the regular municipal election held in the City of Denton on May 6, 1989. 3. Oath of office administered to newly elected Council Members. 4. Election of a Mayor Pro Tempore. 5. Miscellaneous matters from the City Manager. 6. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS3 SECTION I. The City Council finds and declares that the May 60 1989 regular municipal election was duly ordered for the purpose of electing four Counoilpersons to Places 1, 2, 3, and 41 that proper notice of said election was duly given and election officials appointedf that said election was duly held and the returns of the election officials have been delivered to the Council, all in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas and the Charter and ordinances of the City of Denton. SECTION II. The official returns of the election officials having been opened, exanined and canvassed, the Council hereby finds and declares that votes were cast at said election, and that the votes cast for each place on the Council were as followss ABSENTEE VOTINGs FOR PLACE is Randall S.
