Have someone stand by the UNICOM 122,7 and notify all aircraft in the area to stay clear of the crash site. Advise aircraft that they can land or, if they have to hold, go to another airport. 5. If unable to reach the AIRPORT MANAGER, JOE THOMPSON; or EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT, ROSS LITMANI Call the FORT WORTH FLIGHT SERVICE STATION (FSS) 1-800-722-6209) and consult with the duty supervisory. Be sure € to get the duty supervisory name and make written notes of h1,s recommendations. FILE NOTAM AND RECORD TIME, DATE, AND CON Ir.1NT5 OP NOTICE TO AIRMEN. 1 i ****YOU WILL, NEED TO OBTAIN 1. Attempt to call AIRPORT MANAGER or others listed above again, if still unable to reaoh, call F,S,S, Supervisor again and apprise him of the situation and include aircraft number, extent of injuries to occupants, f and damage to aircraft, pilot's name, number of passengers on board and possible cause of accident. If appropriate, ask for approval to remove aircraft. 8. Keep all news media at. the Airport Terminal Building. Do not allow access to the accident scene until it is released by the Senior Police officer in charge of protecting the accident soono or a higher authority (City Manager, Airport Manager, D.P.S. I 1 ~ PRESERVATION OF AIRCRAFT WRECKAGE1 F.A.R. PART 810.10 I (a) The operator of an aircraft involved in an aooidont or incident for which notification must be given is responsible for preserving I to the extent possible any aircraft wreckage, oars°r and mail aboard the aircraft, and all records, including all recording mediums of flight, maintenance, and voice recorders, pertaining to the operation and maintenance of the aircraft and to the airmen til the Board takes custody thereof or a release is granted pursuant to 831.12(b) of this chapter.
