PAVING RELEASE
COUNTY OF DENTON 5
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, has here-
tofore by ordinance No. 66-70 duly enacted on August 27, 1966, determined
the necessity for and ordered the improvement of Crawford Street, in the
City of Denton, Texas, in the manner and according to the plans anu
specifications therefore, which plans and specifications Dave heretofore
been approved and adopted by said City Council? and
WHEREAS, a notice duly executed in the name of the City of Denton,
Texas, of the enactment of the said above described ordinance has here-
tofore on the 1st day of September, 1966, been filed in the Deed Records
of Denton County, Texas, in VOIUMe 541, Page 490; and
I`I WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, by Ordinance
I No. 67-02, duly enacted on the 10th day of January, 1967, declared the
liability of the adjacent property owners for a portion of the cost of
improving the said portion of Crawford Street, and declared the same to
be a lion upon the said abutting properties; and
WHEREAS, in the aforesaid instruments, Lot 7, Block 158 in the name
of James Otis Fox was shown to be specially assessed in the amount of
Five Hundred Sixty-Two Dollars and Fifty cents ($562.50); and
WHEREAS, the property owner's ehare of the cost of improving Lot 9,
Block 269 abutting upon Wilson Street in the City of Denton, Texas, is
Five Hundred Sixty-Two Dollars and Fifty Cents ($562.50); NOW, THEREFORE,
In consideration of the payment by the said Northcorp Realty
Advisors, Inc., in trust for Resolution Trust Corporation for Denton
Savings on behalf of O.D. Forte, to tae City of Denton, Texas, of One
Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-seven Dollars and Fifty Cents ($1,127,50)
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the said City of Denton, Texas,
does hereby forover release and discharge the said O.D. Forte, his heirs
and assigns, and Lot 7, Block 158 as shown on the City Map of the said
City of Denton, Texas, from any and all special assessment liens and
claims arising by virtue of the improvements to Crawford street in the
City of Denton, Texas, described in the aforesaid ordinances by the city
Council of said City, and in the aforesaid notice recorded in Volume 541,
Page 490 of the Deed Re.ords of Denton County, Texas.

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, has hire-
tofore by Ordinance No. 69-33 duly enacted on September 9, 1969, deter-
mined the necessity for and ordered the improvement of Duncan Street, in
the Cit/ of Denton, Texas, in the manner and according to the plans and
specifications therefore, which plans and specifications have heretofore
been approved and adopted by said City Council; and

WHEREAS, a notice duly executed in the name of the City of Denton,
Texas, of the enactment of the said above described ordinance has here-
tofore on the 12th day of September, 1969, been filed in the Deed Records
of Denton County, Texas, in Volume 591, Page 236; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas
No. 70-11, duly enacted on the 14th day of April, 1970, declared thenlia-
bility of the adjacent property owners for a portion of the cost of im-
proving the said portion of Duncan Street, and declared the same to be a
lien upon the said abutting properties; and j
WHEREAS, in the aforesaid instruments, Lot 1.1, Block 276 in the
name of James Earl Franklin was shown to be spt::+t;y assessed in the
amount of Five Hundred seventy-three Dollars and Twenty-seven Cents
($573.27); and
WHEREAS, the property ownerts share of the coat of improving Lot
1.10 Block 276 abutting upon Duncan Street in the City of Denton, Texas,
is one Hundred Ninety-Two Dollars and Eight Cents ($192.08); NOW, THERE-
FORE,
In consideration of the payment by the said Republic Title on behalf
of James Earl Franklin, to the City of Denton, Texas, of Five Hundred
Seventy-three Dollars and Twenty-seven Cents ($573.27) plus interest,
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the said City of Denton, Texas,
does hereby forever release and discharge the said James Earl Franklin,
his heirs and assigns, and Lot 1.1, Block 276 as shown on the City Map of
the said City of Denton, Texas, from any and all special assessment liens
and claims arising by virtue of the improvements to Duncan Street in the
City of Denton, Texas, described in the aforesaid ordinances by the City
council of said City, and in the aforesaid notice recorded in Volume 591,
Page 236 of the Deed Records of Denton County, Texas.
