A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF ROSS CHADWICK AS
1NTERIM FIRE CHIEF OF THE CITY OF DENTON FIRE DEPARTMENT; AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the pursuant to Local Government Code § 143.013, the City Manager has
appointed Ross Chadwick to serve temporarily as Interim Fire Chief of the City af Denton Fire
Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton has determined that the appointment
should be coniirmed; NOW, THEREFOR.E,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY RESOLVES:
SECTION 1. The temporary appointment of Ross Chadwick as Interim Fire Chief af the
City of Denton Fire Department is hereby confirrned.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
appraval, and until such time as the confirmatian is revoked or superseded by a subsequent
appaintment and confirmation.
