RESOLUTION NO. 1$-S 3O
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF KENNETH W. HEDGES, BY
THE CITY MANAGER, AS FIRE CHIEF FOR THE CITY OF DENTON FIRE
DEPARTMENT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Tex. Loc. Gov't Code §143.013(a)(1), the City Manager has
appointed Kenneth W. Hedges to be Fire Chief of the City of Denton Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton has determined that the appointment
should be confirmed; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY RESOLVES:
SECTION_ 1. The appointment of Kenneth W. Hedges as Fire Chief of the City of
Denton Fire Department by the City Manager is hereby confirmed.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
