RESOLUTION NO. 18-1515
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF FRANK DIXON, BY THE CITY
MANAGER, AS THE CHIEF OF POLICE FOR THE CITY OF DENTON POLICE
DEPARTMENT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Texas Local Government Code, Section 143.13(a)(1), the
City Manager has appointed Frank Dixon to be the Chief of Police of the City of Denton Police
Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton has determined that the appointment
should be confirmed; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY RESOLVES:
SECTION _l . The appointment of Frank Dixon as Chief of Police of the City of Denton
Police Department by the City Manager is hereby confirmed.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
