RESOLUTION NO. 18-1913
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DENTON, SPECIFYING ITS 1NTENT TO DESIGNATE
A LOCATION AT THE DENTON ENTERPRISE AIRPORT FOR THE SITING OF A FUTURE
FIRE STATION; UPDATING THE AIRPORT LAYOUT PLAN; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Denton owns and operates the Denton Enterprise Airport (the
"Airport"); and
WHEREAS, the City of Denton provides emergency response to the Airport and the
surrounding industrial area; and
WHEREAS, the City intends to ensure a future location of an on-airport fire station with
minimal response times to the Airport and surrounding area, and to designate such location on the
Airport Layout Plan; NOW THEREFORE;
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY RESOLVES:
ION 1. The recitations of this resolution are incorporated into this resolution as if

SECTION 2. The City of Denton designates the location as depicted on the attached
Exhibit A, as the siting location for a future iire station at the Airport.
SECTION 3. The City Manager, or his designee, is directed to update the Denton
Enterprise Airport Layout Plan to reflect the proposed fire station location and to submit the
revised Airport Layout Plan to the Aviation Division of the Texas Department of Transportation
for approval.
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
approval.
