A RESOLUTION DIS50LVING THE SPECIAL CITIZENS BOND ADVISORY
COMMITTEE FOR THE PROPOSED 2019 BOND ELECTION; ENDING
APP INT ENTS T T E C ITTEE; AN ECLA ING AN EFFECTIVE
ATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes ta ask the citizens of Denton to consider
authorizing General Obligation bonds in November 2019 for the purpose af public
improvements in the community aver the next six years; and
WHEREAS, the City Council estahlished the Special Citizens Bond Advisory
Cammittee on April 23, 2019, to provide recommendations on the specific projects that may
be financed with the General Obligation bonds; and
WHEREAS, the Special Citizens Bond Advisory Committee voted on a proposed 2019
bond program at its July 25, 2019 meeting and the proposed 2019 bond program was presented
ta the City Council during its August 1, 2019 Budget Workshop; and
WHEREAS, the Special Citizens Bond Advisory Committee fulfilled its charge and
completed its intended purpose by recommending the dallar amounts and capital projects ta be
considered by the public in the November 2019 election; NOW, Tf-IEREFO ,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY RESOLVES:
SECTION 1. This resolution shall become effective immediately upan its passage and
approv��1. �� k�� ��a��,.i�t�l Citizens Bond Advisory Committee is hereby formally dissolved on
August 6, 2019, and all appointments to the Special Citizens Bond Advisary Committee are
hereby ended.
