HomeMy WebLinkAbout21-424RESOLUTION NO. 21-424 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON APPROVING CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSIONER LILYAN PRADO CARRILLO’S REQUEST FOR A LEAVE OF ABSENCE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Civil Service Commissioner Lilyan Prado Canillo is requesting a leave of absence for medical reasons for the remainder of her term, which expires on August 3 1, 2021; and WHEREAS, the City of Denton City Council deems it in the public’s best interest to accept Commissioner Lilyan Prado Carrillo’s leave of absence request; NOW THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY RESOLVES: SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves Commissioner Lilyan Prado Carrillo’s leave of absence request for the remainder of her term, which expires on August 3 1, 202 1. SECTION 2. The attached leave of absence request from Commissioner Lilyan Prado Carrillo shall be filed in the official record with the City Secretary. SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and approval. Per our conversation, I have decided to request a leave of absence due to medical reasons, beginning March 1,2021 through August 31, 2021.
