A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DENTON ADOPTING THE VILLAGES OF CARMEL
PROPERTY MASTER PLAN AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Villages of Carmel Property Master Plan (VOCPMP) serves as a guide
for the development of a City of Denton Park.; and
WHEREAS, the City of Denton desires to adopt the Villages of Carmel Property Master
Plan for the City; and
WHEREAS, the Villages of Carmel Park consists of the property at the corner of Edwards
Road and Swisher Road; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in the public's best interest to adopt the VOCPMP;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY
ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. The City of Denton Villages of Carmel Property Master Plan, which is
attached hereto as Exhibit 3, and made a part hereof, is hereby adopted as an official park master
plan of the City of Denton.
SECTION 2. The attached plan shall be filed with the City Secretary.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage and approval.
