A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DENTON ADOPTING THE BOWLING GREEN PARK
MASTER PLAN AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Bowling Green Park Master Plan (BGPMP) serves as a plan for the
development of a City of Denton Park.; and
WHEREAS, the City of Denton desires to adopt the Bowling Green Park Master Plan for
the City; and
WHEREAS, the Bowling Green Park consists of the property at 2200 Bowling Green
Street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in the public's best interest to adopt the BGPMP;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY
ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. The City of Denton Bowling Green Park Master Plan, which is attached
hereto as Exhibit 3, and made a part hereof, is hereby adopted as an official park master plan of
the City of Denton.
SECTION 2. The attached plan shall be filed with the City Secretary.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage and approval.
