A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE CITY OF DENTON PARKS, RECREATION ANDTRAILS SYSTEM MASTER PLAN; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on March 1, 2022, the Parks, Recreation, and Beautification Board
recommended approval of the Parks, Recreation and Trails System Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the public interest to adopt this Parks,
Recreation and Trails System Master Plan; NOW THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY RESOLVES:
SECTION 1. The findings and recitation contained in the preamble of this Resolution are
incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Denton, Texas hereby adopts the City of
Denton Parks, Recreation and Trails System Master Plan.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage and approval.
