A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, DISAPPROVING THE PROPOSED2023 DENTON CENTRAL APPRAISAL DISTRICT BUDGET; AND PROVIDING ANEFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the 2023 proposed budget of the Denton Central Appraisal District was
submitted to the City of Denton on June 10, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the Denton Central Appraisal District 2023 budget was approved by its Board
of Directors on July 28, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the Denton Central Appraisal District approved 2023 budget is$17,997,944.33 with the City of Denton 2023 estimated allocation of $538,368.11; NOW,THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY RESOLVES :
SECTION 1. The recitals contained in the preamble of this resolution are hereby
incorporated into the body of this resolution as if set out fully herein.
SECTION 2. The City Council, pursuant to Article 6.06 of the Texas Tax Code,
disapproves the 2023 proposed budget of the Denton Central Appraisal District.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
approval .
