A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON TO APPOINT ADRECTOR TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF HUNTER RANCH W{PROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 1 OF DENTON COUNTY, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVEDATE
WHEREAS, Section 3980.0201(c) of the Texas Special District Local Laws Code
authorizes the governing body of the City of Denton to appoint one director to the Board of
Directors of the Hunter Ranch Improvement District No. 1 of Denton County, Texas (the “Board”);and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in the public interest to appoint a director to theBoard to serve a four-year term to expire on June 10, 2027; NOW,THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY RESOLVES:
SECTION 1. The findings and recitations contained in the preamble of this Resolution are
incorporated herein by reference.
SECTION 2. Soshq FL, keI is hereby appointed as a director to the Board, to
serve in such a capacity for a four-year term expiring June 10, 2027.
SECTION 3. The City Manager is hereby authorized to send a certified copy of this
Resolution to appropriate officials of the Hunter Ranch Improvement District No. 1 of Denton
County, Texas.
SECTION 4 This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
approval.The Motion
