On this the llth day of Apmtl, A.D~ 1960, came on to be
considered at a Special Meeting of the City Council of Denton,
Texas~ the ~tte~ of c~vasslng the ~etu~ns of an election
heretofore held on the ~th day of April, A.D. 1960, said elec-
tion haviag heretofore been duly o~de~ed by said City Council
for the pu~ose of electing two councilmes for the City of
Denton, Texas, and the City C~ncil having duly canvassed the
returns of said election, finds that the following n~ed men
received the votes indicated opposite their n~es:

It appe~ing from the canvass of said returns of said elec-
tion [that P~a~ R. B~o~. ~d ~omas. E. Noel received the hi,est
numb~ of votes cast fop the office of City Councilmen of the
City of ~nton, Texas;

and ~h~mas E. Noel we~ duly elected as City Councilmen
of the City of Denton, Texas, and the City Secretary is hereby
DInGeD to delive~ copies of this resolution to the aforesaid
Prank R. Ba~ow and Thomas E. Noel as Certificates of Election.
