WHEREAS, by instrument dated April 12, ]960, 1.2rnest w. Simp-
son agd Joe Skiles of Dent,on County, Texas, conveyed to the City
of Denton, Texas, an easement for an electric power line pole
guy wire and anchor in, upon and across a tract of land lying
and being situated in the County of Denton, State of Texas, and
more particularly described as follows:
SEGINNING at the southeast corner of a tract of land,
out of the J. Early Survey, as conveyed to Ernest F
Simpson by Joe Skil~s and recorded in Vol. 4~2, P 440
of the Deed Records of Denton County~ Texas. Said
beginning point also being the southeast corner of
Block E of the Brentwood Addition to the City of Denton;
THENCE North with the east line of Block ~ of said
Brentwood Addition a distance of l0 feet to a point
I ~or a corner;
THENCE Northwesterly, parallel w~th the south line of
aid Block E a distance of l0 feet to a point for a
orner;
THENCE South, parallel with the east l~ne of said
Block E a distance of 10 feet to a point for a corner ·
in the south line or,Block E of said Brestwood Addition;
HENCE Southeasterly with the south lzne of Block E
la distance of l0 feet to the place of beginning, and
5{EP~EAS, the said easement is required b~ tho Brazes _~lectr
Power Cooperative, Inc. in order to r~-locate certain electric
powe~I line poles along the North boundary of Windsor Drive; and
WI~EREAE, the aforesaid easement was socured by the City of
Denton, Texas, for the purpose of facil±tatznc tho said
location, now therefore be it
iRESOLVED BY THE CITY~ COUNCIL OF TH~ CITY OF DEN~0N, TMXAS,
that ithe City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to execute
on behalf of the City of ~Denton, Texas, an assignment to Brazes
Electric Power Cooperative, Inc. of th~ easement granted to sazd
City by Ernest F. Simpson. and Joe Skilcs by instrument dated the
12th day of April, A.D. i960.
