COUNTY OF DALLAS
That E~PLOYERS CASUALTY COMPANY, a Texas corporation, is held and fiEmly
bound unto CITY OF DENTON~ TEY~S, a polzttcal subdivision of the State of
Texas~ in the sum of Two Hundred Fifty and no/lO0 Dollars ($250 00), to
be paid to the said CITY OF I~.~TON~ TEX~ its successors or assigns, for
which payment~ well and truly to be made~ the said corporation does bind
itself and its successors firmly by these presents.
Sealed with the seal of such corporation Dated the 9th &ay of J~e~ 1961
The condition of the above obligation is that whereas heretofore CITY OF
DENTON~ TEXAS issued certain bonds bearing coupon numbers 26-45, respectively
inclusive, of City of Denton Library Building Bond~ Series of 1947, ~
due N~y l, 1969, the interest represented by such coupons being due and
payable on the 1st day of Nay~ 1961, and that EMPLOYE~S CASUALTY COMPANY is
the true and lawful owner of such coupons; that such coupons have been
lost and/or destroyed, their whereabouts being unknown to EMPLOYERS CASUALTY
COMPANY~ and whereas THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK IN DATJAS at the request of
ENPLOYERS CASUALTY COMPANY has paid to it the sum of Two Hundred Fifty and
no/100 Dollars ($250.00)~ representing the amount due on said coupons in
full discharge and satisfaction of the said coupons;
Now~ if the said EMFLOYERS CASUALTY COMPANY, its successors or assigns~
shall at all times defend~ save harmless and indemnify CITY OF DENTON~
TEXAS and THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK IN DALLAS~ their successors, against
all claims, dem~nds~ suits and actions whatsoever arising from or on ac-
count of the said above numbered coupons, and against all damages~ costs~
payments and expenses~ and expenses by reason thereof, and shall deliver
or caUse to be delivered up the said coupons to the said THE FIRST NATIONAL
BANK LN D~.~.~S~ its successors~ if the same shall be fotmd~ then this obli-
gation shall be void; otherwise to remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS ~U~EEEOF~ the corporate seal of the said corporation is hereto
affixed, and these presents~ duly signed by the President and Treasurer of

enclosing an affidavit in oonnection with the lost coupons. If
you will aeeept this affidavit in lieu of the lost coupons) please
authorize us to make payment to the Company in the amount of $2%Oe00.

TEXAS, HELD IN THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING IN SAID CITY ON THE 29TH
DAY OF JANUARY~ A.D. 1962.
RESOLUTION
On this the 29th day of January, A.D 1962, came on to be
consmdered at a Specmal Meetang of the Caty Councal of the Caty
of Denton, Texas, the matter of canvassing the returns of an
electaon heretofore held on the 23rd day of January, A.D. 1962,
said electmon havang heretofore been duly ordered by samd Cmty
Council by resolutaon passed and approved at a Specaal Meeting
on the 21st day of December, A.D. 1961, and recorded in Mmnute
Book No. 17, Page 130, for the purpose of submattlng to the quail-
fled voters of the Caty of Denton, Texas, the questaon "SHALL THE
PRESENT ONE-WAY TRAFFIC SYSTEM IN THE CITY OF DENTON~ TEXAS, BE
CONTINUED?", and the Caty Councml having duly canvassed the returns
of saad election, lands that on the answers "YES" and "NO" the
followang votes were cast:

It appearing from the canvass of said electmon that a ma3or-
aty of the quallfaed voters votang on said proposatlon favor the
contlnuataon of the ~resent one-way traffic system in the City of
Denton, Texas;
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED AND DECLARED that an accordance with
a resolutaon by the Caty Council of the City of Denton, Texas,
passed and approved at a Special Meetmng on December 21, 1961, and
recorded an Manute Book No. 17, Page 130, and further an accordance
with the wall of the voters as expressed an the aforesaid electaon,
the present one-way traffic system in the City of Denton, Texas,
shall be continued as heretofore provided ~n a certain resolution
passed and approved at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of
the City of Denton, Texas, on the 12th day of September, A.D.
1961, and recorded in M~nute Book No 17, Page 114
