DE~TON, TEXAS, HELD AT~ THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING OF SAID
CITY ON THE 1ST DAY OF, AUGUST, A.D. 1962.
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City ~ouncil of the City of Denton, Texas,
has heretofore completed a study and approved
the plans for the straaghtenlng and improve-
ment of the channels of streams, branches and
draans in the Clty of Denton, Texas; and
W~EREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas
found that publac necessaty requires the con-
struction, reconstruction and perpetual maan-
tenance of an open drainage channel in and upon
the following described property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found and determined that
an easement in the hereInafter described land
is suitable for such purpose and that it as
necessary to acquire saad easement in and upon
the same for such purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City of Denton, through its duly authorized
representatives, has negotaated wath the owners
of such land and has been unable to agree with
such owners as to the fair cash market value
thereof and damages, af any; now therefore be it
R~SOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS,
that the City Attorney be and he is hereby
authorized and darected to file or cause to be
filed against all owners and l~en holders, pro-
ceedings in eminent domain to acquire an ease-
ment for said purposes an and to the following
described tract of land, to wit:
