did convene m~sesslon, pursuant to law, with its Mayor
presiding, and with the following duly elected members present, constituting a quorum, to-w~t

Be it Hereby Resolved that agreement between Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad Company and
the Cxty of Denton. Texas , a copy of which is
attached as Exhibit "A" hereto and m~de a part hereof, for operating a water pipeline
across or alonq 13, censor's railroad xn Denton, Texas, and construction

be and it ~s hereby approved and accepted, and that Warren ~.itson, Jr.
as Mayor , and Brooks~olt
as ~ity Secretary of th~s governing body, be and 9hey are hereby
authorized, empowered and directed to execute said agreement and to do all things necessary therefor,
and that their acts in so doing are hereby adopted, ratified and confirmed as %he acts of sa~d

The State Highway Depart~ut offers no ob~ectiou to the location on the rift-of-way
f your proposed 8" ~r llue as sho~ by accompanying drawings and notice
dated 1~1~ except as noted below.
It is expressly understood that the State Highway Department does not purport, here-
by, to grant any ri~t, claim, title, or easement in or upon this hi.way; and It is
further understood that the State Highway Department may require the o~er to re-
locate this line, subject to provisions of governing haws. by giving thirty (~0) days
written notice.
All work on the hi.way rift-of-way shall be perfo~ed lu accordance with Highway
Department iust~ctious. The installation shall not d-m~.ge any part of the hi.way
and adequate provisions must be ~de to cause minimum iucouveuleuce to traffic and
adjacent property o~ers. Special specifications for placing this pipe line are as
follows:
