STATE OF TEXAS ~ COUNTY OF DENTON ~ RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION OF HOWARD GENTRY CITY OF DENTON ~ WHEREA~, the Council of the Caty of Denton as losang one of zts most valued members in Howard Gentry, who was elected thereto an Apral of 1965, and who formerly served as a member, then chaxrman, of the Parks and Recreataon Board of the Caty of Denton, Texas, from May 24, 1962 until has saad electaon in Apral of 1965; and WHEREAS' Howard Gentry has been with the City of Denton for flve years, and durang sa~d tame has always dascharged has duties and res- ponsibllxtaes diligently and effacaently, with the h~ghest professional standards; and WHEREAS, Howard Gentry has consistently served above and beyond the mere effec~ent d~scharge of his dutzes in promotang the welfare and prosperxty of the City, and has earned the complete respect and admiration of has subordxnates and peers; and WHEREAS, Howard Gentry has been extremely active as a member of this Clty Council, and praor to that as a member and chairman of the Parks and Recreataon Board, and has devoted much txme and effort, wathout pay, reward or other compensataon, to raasang the stand- ards of the Cxty which he loves so well; and WHERE~S, the City of Denton has been extremely fortu- nate in hav~ng en3oyed the dedacated servaces of Howard Gentry for the many years he has been with the City, and for the future servlces which we know wall be forthcomang; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON: hat the sxnc~e and warm apprecaatlon of Howard ~entry by the ~at~zens and offacers of the City of Denton be conveyed to ham by spreading this Resolutaon in the offlcaal mxnutes of the Caty of Denton, Texas, and for- wardang the executed orlganal to ham. STATE ~F Tm~3%S I COUNT~ OF DENTON X RESOLUTION IN APPRECIATION OF FRED MINOR CITY OF DENTON ~ WHERE~S, the Councll of the City of Denton, Texas, is losing one of 1ts most esteemed members in Fred M~nor, who was appointed to sa~d Council in September of 1966 to f~ll the un- expzred.term of Dr. Chester Newland and who formerly served,~n the past, as a member of the governing body of the City of Denton; and WHEREAs' Fred M~nor has served the City of Denton, in many capacities, for many years, and dur- ing saxd t~me has always d~scharged h~s duties and responsibilities diligently and efficiently, with the h~ghest professional standards; and WHEREAs, Fred M~nor has consistently served above and beyond the mere effacentl~xscharge of h~s dutaes xn promoting the welfare and prosperity of the City, and has earned the complete res- pect and admirataon of h~s subordinates and colleagues; and WHERE~S, Fred Minor has been extremely active as a member of this City Councal, and prior t~a that an many other capac~taes both official and unofficial, and has devoted considerable time and effort, without pay,or reward, to ralszng the standards of the C~ty ~n whach he laves amd to which he has dedicated the better part of h~s life: and WHEREAS, the City of Denton has been extremely fort- unate i~ havang en]oyed the dedicated services of Fred Mxnor for the many years he has served the Cxty, and for future services whach we all know wall be forthcoming; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON: that the sanc~e and warm appreciation of Fred Mimor by the citizens and officers of the C1~ of Denton be conveyed to ham by spreadi~g thas Resolution in the off~caal minutes of the Caty of Denton, Texas, and forwarding the executed orlganal to him. FRANK CAMP CITY O~ DENTON WHEREAS, the Council of the Cxty of Denton is losing one of its most valued members an Dr. Frank Camp, who was elected thereto an April of 1965, and who formerly served as a member of the Planning and Zoning Board from the 23rd day of April, 1963 until his said elect~on to thas Council; and WHERE~S, Dr. Frank Camp has been with the City of Denton for more than four years, and during said t~me has oonsistently discharged his duties and responsib~lltles diligently and efficiently, with the highest professional standards; and WHEREAS, Dr. Frank Camp.has always served above and be- yond the mere eff=clent discharge of his duties in promoting the welfare and prosperity of the City, and has earned the full respect and admiration of hxs subordinates and peers; and WHEREAS, Dr. Frank Camp has been very actave as a member of this City Council, and prior to that as a membero~f the Plannang and Zoning Commisseun of the City of Denton, and has devoted much time and effort, without pay, reward or any other compensation, to ral~ng the standards of the City which he loves so well; and WHEREAS, the City of Denton has been extremely fortunate an havlng en3oyed the dedacated services of Dr. Frank Camp for the many years he has been with the City, and for has future services which we hope will be forthcoming; THEREFORE, BE IT HESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON: that the slnceEe and warm appreciation of Dr. Frank C~p by the ~lt~zens and offacers of the City of Denton be conveyed to ham by spread- lng this Resolution an the official minutes of the Caty of Denton, Texas, and forwardang the executed original to ham.
