TEXAS~ HELD IN THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING OF SAID CITY ON T~ 26TH
DAY O~ SEPTEMBER~ A. D. 1967.
OLUTION
HERE~ the delinquent tax collections fo~ the C~ty
of Denton have been much higher than antlc~-
pated, causing the fee of the Delinquent Tax
Attorney to be in excess of the amount appro-
priated therefor thru the Legal Department;
and
WHEREAS~ the ~nstallatlon of l~ghts of Bronco Field
have caused a credit to the Parks and
Recreation Fund; and
WHEREAS~ the Charter provides (Section 8.07) that
w~th~n the last three months of the budget
year, the Council may b~ resolution transfer
any unencumbered appropriation balance or
port~on thereof from one off~ce~ department
or agency to ano~er.
NOW~ TH~REFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
DENTON:
that F~ve Thousand F~ve Hundred ($5~500.00)
Dollars is hereby transferred from the
Contingency Fund to the Legal Department;
Four Thousand Dollars ($47000.00) is hereby
transferred from the Contingency Fund to the
Parka and Recreation Department.
The above transfer of budget appropriations
have been recommended by the Director of
F~nance and C~ty Manager.

MINUTES ~ THE CITY COUN~IL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS:
On behalf of the people of the City of Denton,
exas~ the Caty Councal and Mayor hereby ex-
tess publacly their sancere thanks and appre-
caataon to Raymond Pitts for has emanent servace
as a member of the Beard of Equalazataon of the
aty of Denton, for several consecutave terms,
untal the Board ad]ourned on August 21, 1967.
The sa~d Raymond Pxtts was farst appointed to
this Board on July 26, 1960, by the Caty Councal
and was re-appointed for seven (7) consecutave
terms until has resxgnataon effective on saad
Idate of adjournment.
The Clty Councal and Mayor wash to express their
further thanks for the tareless and outstanding
manner an whach he has performed thas public
servace~ and further express their desare for
