RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF CHARLES WILEY, BY
THE CITY MANAGER, AS POLICE CHIEF FOR THE CITY OF DENTON POLICE
DEPARTMENT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the city manager pursuant to Local Government Code Section
143.011 has appointed Charles Wiley to be Police Chief of the City of Denton Police
Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Denton has determined that the
appointment should be confirmed; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS HEREBY RESOLVES:
SECTION 1. That the appointment, by the city manager, of Charles Wiley as
Police Chief of the City of Denton Police Department is hereby confirmed.
SECTION 2. That this resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and approval.
