That the Dallas Horthwestern Traction Company, or assigns, are hereby grallted the right, privilege and franchise of constructing, maintaining and opera ting a�rurban Railway, over, along and upon the following streets of the City of Denton, Texas, namely: Running over pri\rate property from the Southern Limits of the 01 ty, practically as now surveyed, �o the South line of �ill St., at the,intereection of the :1-• ' f center of Locust street; thence north on Sout�ocuat Street to Congress Street; thence \'lest along Congress street to sta.�no.2145 near J.B. Denton Street, according to survey; thence .orthwesterly t:'\cross private property to Kentucky Street; thence \'/est on r:entucky Street to the City Limits; alao, East on I..cKinney Street from 1rorth Lo­ cust Street to a co nnection with the T .& P. and .. r. .& 'l' .Railways. To construct, maintain and operate all such curves, ev:i tches and ti.n:·nou ts ae may be necessary to the proper and convenient operation o:f eaidAinterurban Railway, subject to the conditions and in accordance with the provis­ ions hereof, and, provided further, said '.:raction Company will not be permitted to haul freight cars over their tracks throught the Public Square. sec. 2. 'l'hat the rights, privileges and franchises hereby grant- ed are for the period of twenty :five years from the final passage of this ordinance, and upon the terL'.ls and condi tione hereinafter ir�posed.
