CITY OF DENTON CITY COUNCIL
March 2, 2009
Joint Meeting of the City of Denton City Council and the Denton Independent School District
Board of Trustees on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 11:30 in the Board Room at the DISD Central
Services Building, 1307 N. Locust St., Denton, Texas, at which the following items will be
considered:
1.Call to order; announce quorum, introductions.
2.Receive a report and hold a discussion on the possibility of establishing a new set of
development/construction guidelines for governmental agencies.
3.Receive a report and hold a discussion on the numbers, units, and types of multifamily
housing approved during the past year within the City of Denton.
4.Receive a report and hold a discussion on the demographics of the Denton ISD inside and
outside the City of Denton.
5.Receive a report and hold a discussion regarding major development projects.
6.Receive an update and hold a discussion regarding legislative issues important to the
Denton ISD and the City of Denton.
7. Adjourn.
