The briefing will include comments by Dave Fulton, Director, Texas Department of Transportation, Aviation Division and airport tenants. BACKGROUND Attached as Exhibit 1 is an agenda for this luncheon program which summarizes a 1 hour and 15 minute presentation that includes a 20 minute question and answer session. The Airport Manager will introduce special guests from the Texas Department of Transportation Division of Aviation (TxDOT Aviation) who will be st present to participate in the program and to begin the Business Plan update process in the afternoon of June 1. The Manager’s presentation will include information regarding the status of infrastructure improvements at the Denton Airport (DTO), as well as an update of the Business Plan development and RADAR installation in the Airport Tower. Comments will, also, address the financial operation of the Airport. The success story of the Denton Airport will be told by representatives of four major aviation businesses located at the Airport. Significant investment and job creation has occurred over the past five years and each of the businesses represented has an aggressive business expansion plan for the coming years. Each of these representatives will give a 3-5 minute summary of their scope of services and future business plans at Denton Airport. The keynote presentation will be given by David Fulton, Director of TxDOT Aviation, regarding the State supported airport improvement program. Denton Airport is currently implementing over $12 million of infrastructure improvements (see on Exhibit 2) with only $1 million of local funding from gas well revenue at the Airport (see Exhibits 3 and 4).
