ORDINANCE NO. ,Z006-16 1
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE RISK MANAGER TO EXECUTE A RELEASE OF
CLAIMS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS REGARDING A CLAIM
AGAINST CALVERT PAVING FOR DAMAGE CAUSED TO CITY OF DENTON PROP-
ERTY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. The Risk Manager is hereby authorized to execute a release of claims on
behalf of the City of Denton regarding a claim against Calvert Paving for damage to City owned
property.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
approval.

It Is expressly agreed that this release and payment of said sum Is not to be construed as an
admission of liability.
This is a full and final release and satisfaction of all claims.
