HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-286FILE REFERENCE FORM 1 2005-286 X Additional File Exists Additional File Contains Records Not Public, According to the Public Records Act Other FILES Date Initials Extension of Contract — Ordinance No. 2009-010 01/06/09 J R ORDINANCE NO. nOL9 rj - (,S& AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM AGREEMENT WITH THE DALLAS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT, TEXAS UNDER SECTION 271.102 OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE, TO AUTHORIZE PARTICIPATION IN VARIOUS DALLAS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT CONTRACTS FOR THE PURCHASE OF VARIOUS GOODS AND SERVICES; AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS THEREFORE; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE (FILE 3404-INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE DALLAS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT). THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS SECTION 1. The City Manager, or his designee is hereby authorized to execute the Interlocal Cooperative Purchasing Program Agreement with the Dallas Independent School District under Section 271.102 of the Local Government Code, substantially the same as the copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein (the "Agreement'). SECTION 2. The City Manager, or his designee is authorized to expend funds pursuant to the Agreement for the purchase of various goods and services. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and approval.
