AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS AMENDING THE SCHEDULE OF FEES
CONTAINED IN ORDINANCE 99-371 BY ADOPTING A NEW SCHEDULE OF FEES AS
AUTHORIZED BY CHAPTER 34 AND CHAPTER 35 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR
THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, FOR FILING APPLICATIONS FOR REVIEW, APPROVAL,
GRANT OR ISSUANCE OF PLATS, PLANS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, VARIANCES OR
DESIGNATIONS REQUIRED BY THE SUBDIVISION RULES AND REGULATIONS AND
ZONING REGULATIONS OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE,
PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE, PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION 1, That Ordinance 99-371 is hereby amended by the adoption of the Development
Review Fee Schedule set forth in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes,
and authorized to be imposed for the filing of applications, review, approval, grant or issuance of plats,
plans, permits, licenses, certificates, variances or designations required by the Subdivision Rules and
Regulations and Zoning Regulations set forth and authorized in Chapters 34 and 35 respectively of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Denton
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall repeal every prior ordinance in conflict herewith, but
only insofar as the portion of such prior ordinance shall be in conflict, and as to all other sections of the
ordinance not in direct conflict herewith, this ordinance shall be and is hereby made cumulative except
as to such prior ordinances or portions thereof as are expressly repealed hereby
SECTION 3. That if any provision of this ordinance or application thereof to any person or
circumstance is held invalid by any court, such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining
portions of this ordinance, and the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas, hereby declares that it
would have enacted the remaining portions despite any such invalidity
SECTION 4 That this ordinance shall become effective immediately after its passage and
approval, and the City Secretary is hereby directed to cause the caption of this ordinance to be
published twice in the Denton Record Chronicle, a daily newspaper published in the City of Denton,
Texas within ten (10) days of the date of its passage

PERTAINING TO THE SCHEDULE OF FEES AS AUTHORIZED BY CHAPTER 34 AND
CHAPTER 35 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE CITY OF DENTON, TEXAS, FOR

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION 1 Ordinance No 2000-098 is hereby amended by adding the following fee to the
"Development Review Fee Schedule" contained in Exhibit "A" to said ordinance
Development Plats for Gas Extraction $200 + $6/acre
All other provisions of Ordinance No 2000-098 not in conflict with this ordinance shall remain in full
force and effect
SECTION 2 This ordinance shall become effective immediately from and after its passage
