OF FUNDS FOR THE QUARTERLY PAYMENTS OF THE SOLID WASTE SURCHARGE,
AND PROVIDING AND EFFECTIVE DATE (PURCHASE ORDER 10010 TO T N R C C IN
THE AMOUNT OF $150,000 00)
WHEREAS, in order to comply with the contract commitment to Texas Natural Resource
Conservation Commission (TNRCC), the City of Denton Is required to pay a Solid Waste Surcharge,
and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has reviewed and recommended that the City Council approve
and authorize the payment of such fees, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DENTON HEREBY ORDAINS
SECTION 1 That the expenditure of funds in the amount of $150,000 00 to be paid to the
Texas Natural Resource Conservation Commission (TNRCC) is hereby authorized
SECTION 2 That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and
approval
