1. Location: Kingfisher Ln from Oriole to Cardinal this project also includes Kingfisher Ct.
2. Proposed Date of Construction: August 1, 2017
3. Proposed Date of Completion: October 9, 2017
4. Brief Description of the Project: Provide a summary of the work being completed and
the reason for the project.
The Kingfisher project includes damaged curb and driveway replacement, subgrade
work, and 7 inch asphalt replacement. Sod will be replaced in areas that are affected by
the construction work and all work will be done according to current City of Denton
specifications. The reason for this reconstruction project is due to the installation of new
utility lines installed in the roadway and the failing condition of the road surface.
5. Special Requirements: Give any special instructions for the public i.e. no parking on the
street, no access to driveways, etc.
No parking will be allowed on the street during working hours unless otherwise directed.
The watering of the sod is the landowner's responsibility.
6. Funding Source: Provide the funding source, i.e. bond election, O&M, etc.
O&M and the 2014 Bond Program
7. Council District: Department of Community Affairs will provide this information.
8. Public Outreach: Provide any information on any public outreach that you have done or
plan to do, i.e. door hangers,placement of digital signs, etc.
Door hangers will be issued prior to the start and for all driveway replacement
instructions.
9. Map: Please attach a map of the area under construction, and any detour map if
applicable.
