After determining that a quorutn was present, the City Council of the City of Denton, Texas
conve�ed in a Special Called Meeting on Friday, November 15, 2019, at 12:08 p.m. in the Council
Chambers at City�Hall, 215 E. McKinney S'treet, Denton, Texas. �
PRESENT: Mayor Chris Watts, Mayor Pro Tem Gerard Hudspeth and Cauncil Members Keely
Briggs, Jesse Davis, John Ryan, Deb Armintor, and Paul Meltzer
ABSENT: None
Also present were City Manager Todd Hileman and First Assistant City Attorney Larry Collister
Mayor Watts informed the public that translafion services were available to simultaneously
provide the service as the presentation on item 2.B (ID 19-2784) was made.

Pro Tem Hudspeth. Motion carried.

B. ID 19-2784 Consider a Iocal declaration of emergency regarding the water service at Green
Tree Estates andlor the expenditure of City funds and use of City resources, not to exceed
$250,000.0�, for the provision of water on a temporary basis and/or temporary water service
and water-reIated resources or infrastructure to the residents of the Green Tree Estates
5ubdivision for a period of time not to exceed 90 days.
The item was presented and discussion follawed.

• Change in Section 4 the amount a�$250,000 to $100,000.
