After determining that a quorum af the Mability Committee af the I7enion City Council was present, the
Mability Committee thereafter convened into an (7pen Meeting on Tuesday, Navember 12, 2019 at 9:00
am in the City Council Wark Sessian Room, 21 S E. McKi�nney, Denton, T'exas.

REGULAR MEETING
A,. MG 19-066 The Mability Committee meeting minutes af August 13, 2019 were cansidered for
appraval. CM Etriggs made a mation to apprave and CM Ryan secanded. The minutes were
appraved by vate (3-0).
B. 1VIC 19-06� Haley Salazar presented and update on the Narth Central Texas Cauncil af
Governrnent's (NCTCOG) Policy Bundle Pra�;ram. This item was for reparting / presentatian
purposes only.
C. MC 19-070 Marc Oliphant presented a report on the City bikeshare pragram, ridership statistics, and
program aversight. This item was for infarmatian, status update and discussian only.
D. MC 19-072 Nicole Recker and Troy Raley shared updates on the DCT� services and upcoming
changes, pragrams and events.
The presentation was made and all questians were addressed.
E. MC 19-073 John Polster f'rom Innovative Transpartation Solutions Tncorporated presented the
On-Systems Praject Summary and a status update for:

The total value far �khis list oiprojects is $2,28Q,911,124. Most of these have been funded or are in the
pipeline ta be funded within the next 1$ to 24 months.
All questions presented were reviewed and addressed.
Follawing discussion, there was na direction provided as the item was for reparting purposes only.
F. MC 19-074 Brian Ja,hn presented a repart an the implementation af an exclusive pedestrian phase in
the traific signal operations of the downtown �iz�tersectians at Oak and E1m, Oak and Locust, Hickory
and Elm, and Hickary and Locust as a pilot pragram for evaluation as a safety impravement far all
modes of transportatian in the downtown area.
This plan was previously presented ta the Traffic Safety Cammissian and is schedule for presentation
ta City Cauncil this afternaon. Due to the calendar and meetin�; arder sequence, it will aisa be
presented next week to the Camrnittee on Persans with Disabilities far additional carnments and
patential approval.
Following the discussian, the cansensus was to proceed with the presentatian to Council today with
the consideratian of being contingent on approval of the Cammittee an Persans with Disabilities.
G. MC19-071 Pritam Deshmukh presented the Items far Future Consideration far review. Items
previously addressed were remaved, new concerns added and agenda items identified for future
presentations. Requested changes in follow-up to review af the street canstruction repart where noted
for schedule changes incurred.
CONCLUDING ITEMS

citizen; a reminder about an upcaming event or�anized ar sponsared by the gaverning bady; infarmation
regarding a sociai, ceremanial, ar community event organized or spansared by an entity other than the
governing body that was attended ar is scheduled ta be attended by a member af the governing body or an
official or employee of the municipality; or an annauncement invalving an imminent threat to the public
health and safety af people in the municipality that has arisen after the pasting of the agenda.
