McKinney St., Denton, Texas. Committee Members: Chair, Mayor Pro-Tem Meltzer; Vice-Chair Council Member Byrd and Council Member Maguire participated in the meeting in-person. REGULAR MEETING A. MC21-025 Consider approval of the minutes of June 16, 2021 and June 29, 2021. Council Member Byrd; motioned to approve the minutes as presented; seconded by Council Member Maguire; Motion carried. MC21-027 Receive a report and hold a discussion regarding updates from the Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA). Nicole Recker, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at DCTA, shared updates on items presented and discussion foHowed. D. MCll-028 Receive a report and hold a discussion regarding the City of Denton's proposed expenditure of funds in the amount of $70,553.00 to the Texas Department of Transportation's (TxDOT) Highway Improvement Safety Program (HSTP). Chandrakanth Muruganandham, shared updated on items presented and discussion followed. E. MCll-029 StaffReports I. Staff Memorandum Update regarding the Senior Planner -Bicycle, Pedestrian, and ADA Coordinator Position Announcement 2. Status update of the key elements of the 2012 Bike Denton Plan to the Transportation/Mobility Project update provided during the monthly Mobility Committee meetings 3. Provide update on future plans for West Oak St between Bradley St. and Thomas St. 4. List of overpasses being impacted/added as part of the I-35 Widening Project 5.
