October 14, 2022 Peterbuilt Pride & Class Day Proclamation by the Alapor of the QCitp of Denton, Two To aft to bnhom theoe pru;ento Shall tome, Oreetingz: WHEREAS, Peterbilt Motors Company and its employees have donated over $8.3 million dollars over the last two decades to improve and transform lives of people in Denton County through their annual United Way of Denton County employee giving campaign; and WHEREAS, Peterbilt Motors Company employees regularly volunteer their time and talent to serve local nonprofit organizations as board members and dedicated volunteers; and WHEREAS, Peterbilt Motors Company employees host the fifth annual Peterbilt Pride & Class Truck Parade around the Denton Square to raise awareness and donations for United Way of Denton County and its partners; and WHEREAS, 54 Peterbilt Show Truck Operators will donate their time on October 14th to support Peterbilt Motors Company's philanthropic efforts; and WHEREAS, Peterbilt Motors Company provides an exemplary illustration of corporate social responsibility and commitment to giving back to our community.; and NOW,THEREFORE, I, Gerard Hudspeth,Mayor of the City of Denton, Texas, do hereby declare and proclaim the 14th day of October 2022 as "PETERBILT PRIDE & CLASS DAY" in the City of Denton and join United Way of Denton County in recognizing Peterbilt for their commitment to our community.
