By nurturing innovation and developing leadership skills, they prepare girls to overcome challenges and advocate for their ideas now and for the future. Their mission is to build girls of courage, confidence,and character, and girls who will lnake the world a better place; and WHEREAS,in honor of the ]35 girls from the Gir] Scouts of Northeast Texas Council that has earned the Girl Scout Gold Award for 202 1 -2022; and WHEREAS,Emilie TuTell has been selected to receive the Gold Award for her hard work in the City of Denton’s commun iry; and WHEREAS,the Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest level of achievement in Girl Scouts.
