greetingt9:
WHEREAS, Fairoaks of Denton,by Plano Community Homes,provides affordable housing
for senior residents in the City of Denton; and
WHEREAS, Fairoaks of Denton has served Denton low-income seniors through funding
from HUD,Flow Foundation,and City of Denton grants for 25 years; and
WHEREAS, the City of Denton recognizes the important services that organizations like
Fairoaks of Denton has and continues to provide to one of the City's most
vulnerable at-risk population groups-senior citizens in need; and
NOW,THEREFORE, I, Gerard Hudspeth, Mayor of the City of Denton, Texas,do hereby declare and
proclaim the 111 day of May 2023 as
"FAIROAKS OF DENTON FOUNDERS' DAY"
in the City of Denton and ask the citizens of Denton to join me in honoring the
Founder of Fairoaks, Dr. Cheryl Harding, and celebrating PCH management
and staff for the services they provide.
