10/21/23 Council Member Meltzer Work Session A. 23-937 Who experiences the savings summarized on slide 8?How? The savings are experienced by a combination of Denton home and building owners,vehicle owners,private companies,
the City,and other levels of government. All members of the community that make an investment then see a return on
that investment. However,under the Energy sector or major shift,this is an overall cost for the participants. As far as
how savings are experienced:reduced energy bills;reduced fuel consumption;and reduced maintenance costs to name
a few.
10/21/23 Council Member Meltzer Work Session A. 23-938 Some of the tactics are very big lifts but are associated with only tiny Sustainability Solutions Group(SSG)modeled Denton's emissions and recommend the actions that achieve the most
contributions to the overall goal. Are there no higher potential tactics? emissions reductions for the least investment or effort. Actions may be tied to other actions for full modeled reductions to
